About Fynbos Interiors
“It is the marriage of the soul with Nature that makes the intellect fruitful, and gives birth to imagination.” – Henry David Thoreau

Fynbos Interiors was established in the spring of 1997. The flowering fynbos kindled the look and ethos of our brand: indigenous, exquisite, and creatively designed, yet grounded in nature’s simplicity. Over the years, our product range has evolved and diversified, but we still draw much inspiration from nature. Our clients’ homes often have breathtaking views of the natural surroundings and need to be decorated in ways that celebrate these panoramas as the hero of the scene. Architects tend to stretch boundaries to optimize views. When it comes to window coverings, we quickly developed a reputation for making seemingly impossible projects a reality for our clients.
We offer a full interior decorating service: from conceptualising an interior holistically, to supplying all aspects of decorating. We supply and manufacture all types of curtains and blinds, American shutters, custom-made cabinetry, upholstery, and re-upholstery as well as wallpaper. We also source artworks, artefacts, and interior accessories.
The result of our service is beautiful, tailor-made indoor realms that accommodate practical lifestyle demands.
At Fynbos Interiors, we place a high value on creating spaces that reflect our clients' personalised taste in an authentic, harmonious way—and always executing this with excellence. We, therefore, do not have a stereotyped look. To quote the world-renowned interior designer Bunny Williams, "I like an interior that defies labeling. I don’t really want someone to walk into a room and know that I did it."
Likewise, Fynbos Interiors wants the client to walk into a completed space and feel genuinely at home, while inspired at the same time. We go to great lengths to come up with elegant design solutions in the most cost-effective way, collaborating with local, well-reputed artisans and craftsmen to create tasteful, timeless, and tailor-made interiors.
